Our client is a fast paced, enthusiastic finance company offering bespoke bookkeeping and payroll services to a number of clients spanning from the South East of England to America. They are currently looking for an Accounts Technician / Finance Officer to join their friendly team, working from their offices in St Leonards.
The successful Accounts Technician / Finance Officer will have excellent knowledge of Sage Line 50, MS Excel, and VAT (experience with Xero would be desirable but not essential). The successful Accounts Technician / Finance Officer will be responsible for managing their own client base consisting of complex VAT returns and the completion of management accounts. Knowledge of prepayments and accrual journals is key.
You will be proactive and able to work to tight deadlines, while maintaining high administrative, IT, and communication skills, demonstrating a courteous, helpful and pleasant manner at all times.
