Account Manager

Our client is a leading supplier of bark and woodchip products that have over 20 years’ experience as the UKs premier supplier to the landscaping and construction industries. A vacancy has arisen for an Account Manager to join their busy and dedicated sales team situated in rural East Sussex.

The ideal Account Manager will endeavour to have previous experience within a similar role, possess a good eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. As an Account Manager you will have immediate access to your own database of existing customers, and possess the confidence and ability to drive business and convert leads to sales.

Due to the location of the vacancy it is essential that you have a driving licence and your own transport.

The ideal Account Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:

  • Demonstrable experience as an Account Manager
  • Possess a good sales ability and be sales driven
  • Have a proven experience of meeting sales targets
  • Have a genuine interest in building rapport with customers and providing an outstanding customer service
  • Be IT Literate
  • Knowledge of landscaping/construction industry is desirable but not essential
  • Have a sharp and enthusiastic personality
  • Be organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Your duties as an Account Manager will include:

  • Working with your own database of existing customers
  • Developing new and dormant business
  • Converting leads to sales in a targeted environment
  • Producing quotes
  • Answering product questions
  • Closing enquiries to orders

Salary:

  • Up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience
  • Plus Bonuses

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
