Our client is a manufacturing company based in St Leonards who specialise in the production of high precision machined components. A vacancy has arisen for a CNC Miller to join their busy and friendly team.

The ideal CNC Miller will have previous engineering experience and have knowledge of Fanuc controls. As a CNC Miller you will be producing components directly from technical drawings without supervision.

The Ideal CNC Miller will possess the following skills and qualities:

  • CNC Programming/Setting experience
  • Good understanding of engineering and machining principles
  • Knowledge of Fanuc controls is essential
  • Ability to programme from drawings
  • Possess a good working knowledge of CAD/CAM programming
  • Competent in computer skills including MS office
  • Work using own initiative

Your duties as a CNC Miller would be:

  • Producing components to customer specifications
  • Working with Citizen and Star machines
  • Able to program using Fanuc
  • Reading and working from Technical Drawings
  • Inspecting produced work
  • Maintaining deadlines and schedules
  • Working with minimum supervision
  • Following both written and verbal instruction
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work area, as well as adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Assisting other staff when needed


£12 - £14 per hour

Monday – Thursday, 8am – 5pm

Friday, 8am – 1pm
