Supply Chain Manager

Our client is a manufacturing company who specialise in the production of high precision machined components. They are currently looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their busy and hardworking team.

The ideal Supply Chain Manager will have demonstrable experience within a similar role and within the Engineering industry. As a Supply Chain Manager you will be overseeing customer accounts, supplier’s performance and all office activities within the supply chain, as well as supporting the sales department and assisting with quotes, and co-ordinating regular team meetings.

The ideal Supply Chain Manager will have:

  • Experience within a similar position
  • Demonstrable experience within the Engineering industry
  • Possess strong organisational skills
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Previous shop floor production/quality experience would be an advantage but is not essential

Your duties as a Supply Chain Manager will be:

  • Overseeing customer accounts and suppliers performance
  • Overseeing all office activities within the supply chain
  • Controlling key customer accounts
  • Communicating demand requirement of long term orders to production team
  • Overseeing contact review process
  • Supporting sales and assisting with quotes
  • Generating and analysing customer and supplier OTD and quality data
  • Co-ordinating regular team meetings
  • Reporting to the Operations Director


£35,000 - £38,000 per annum depending on experience


Monday – Thursday: 8am – 5pm

Friday: 8am – 1pm
