Description

Our client is a leading manufacturer in self-adhesive tapes, foams, films and foils for a wide range of applications and industries. They are currently seeking an experienced QC Packer to join their busy team in Lancing, West Sussex.

As a QC Packer you will undertake the responsibility of packing all products on all manufacturing lines, ensuring that quality checks are carried out whilst adhering to set procedures and work instructions. As a key member of the manufacturing team you will report to the Team Leaders.

The ideal QC Packer will have demonstrable experience within a quality role, be able to effectively notice and segregate poor quality products as well as being able to report this to the correct member of staff. 

You will continually seek to improve yourself and your working processes to ensure we are in a position to fulfil our Customer requirements.

 

 Your duties in this role will include:

 

  • Responsible for packing all products on all Manufacturing Lines

  • Carrying out Quality checks

  • Adhering to set procedures and work instructions

  • Responsible for appropriate action taken when Quality issues are discovered 

  • Maintain cleanliness of all areas to the highest standard at all times

  • Ensure Quality and product traceability is the top priority for all products

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

 

  • Experience working within a cleanroom environment

  • Have a flexible ‘can-do’ approach with enthusiasm and drive.

  • Adopts a common sense approach alongside situational awareness skills

  • Health and Safety awareness

  • Strong communication skills

  • Quality focused

 

 

Salary and reward package: 

 

  • Salary £16,995 per annum

  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (additional 3 days leave to cover Christmas shut down)
