Customer Service Advisors – Chippenham

£7.38 - £8.31 p/h (full & part time opportunities available including some weekends)

Our client offers a range of outsourced customer care services, providing their clients with excellent packages ensuring the highest quality in telephone based customer service.

As a Customer Service Advisor you will be dealing with enquiries, taking payments and providing information to a range of customers. As such you will have good communication skills, be organised and able to utilise a number of computer based systems to record and log conversations and actions appropriately.

The ideal Customer Service Advisor will be diligent, helpful and demonstrate the ability to provide excellent customer service. Previous experience is not necessary however some experience in a customer facing / call centre / similar customer service role would be desirable. You will have an eye for detail, be punctual with good time management skills and want to be part of a growing friendly and lively team.

Hours are flexible between 8am and 8pm, working three weekends per month. Our client is open to part time or full time applicants.

Your duties as a Customer Service Advisor will include:

  • Answering and processing calls in a professional, consistent and responsive manner.
  • Developing good relationships with customers providing each one with a positive call experience.
  • Completing all credit/debit card payment and other transactions accurately.
  • Resolving any customer service issues using information provided.
  • Dealing effectively with challenging customers in a positive manner.
  • Anticipating problems and resolving issues before they become visible to the customer.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced customer service / call centre environment.
  • Be a good verbal communicator who can explain information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Be computer literate with accurate keyboard skills.
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail.
  • An NVQ Level 2/3 in Customer Service or equivalent is highly desirable but not essential.
