IT Technical Support Engineer


Our client is an established IT support and solutions provider who has over 30 years’ experience within the industry. They are currently looking for an IT Technical Support Engineer to join their friendly and hardworking service team.

As an IT Technical Support Engineer you will work closely with the base of new and existing clients supporting, maintaining and improving their IT infrastructure. The ideal IT Technical Support Engineer will have demonstrable experience within a similar role, possess excellent customer service skills and have a passion for technology.  


The ideal Candidate will possess the following skills and qualities


  • Certification in Microsoft, Linux or Cisco advantageous
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Remote Desktop application experience
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Repairs down to component level
  • Excellent Customer service skills


Your duties in this role will include


  • Identify Hardware and Software issues
  • Diagnose and report faults
  • Install and configure Hardware and Software
  • Replace or repair necessary parts/boards
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Engage with Clients and establish any concerns they have
  • Talk through actions to resolve IT issues
  • Prompt Client follow up and support
  • Multitask Client requests and actions


Salary and Rewards Package:

  • £25,000 pa + Profit
  • 28 days holiday (including statutory days)
  • Pension Scheme
