Product Development Project Co-ordinator – Fixed Term Contract

Our client is a leading UK manufacturer and distributor with in the swimming pool industry. They are currently looking for an experienced Product Development Project Co-ordinator to join their busy team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience within a similar position, have a strong engineering background as well as proven project management skills. As a Product Development Project Co-ordinator you will be managing all new Product Development projects, implementing any changes to the Product Development process as well as working closely with the Technical Manager and Technical Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the Product Development process.

The ideal Product Development Project Co-ordinator will possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Demonstrable experience within a similar position
  • Possess an engineering background
  • Have proven project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Your duties as a Product Development Project Co-ordinator would be:

  • Project managing all new Product Development projects to completion in a timely manner.  Special attention to be given to companies existing projects which are to be completed in 2020
  • Project managing any ongoing Product Development projects to completion in a timely manner
  • Using the company’s existing Product Development Process, offering suggestions to improve processes and procedures where valid
  • Implementing any changes to the Product Development Process where agreed by your Manager
  • Working closely with the Technical Manager and Technical Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the Product Development process
  • Ensuring the Product Development team is working to its best ability, focusing on the highest priorities and completing tasks within the times allocated
  • Completing all Product Development administrative tasks
  • Arranging, attending and chairing Product Development meetings
  • Co-ordinating and collecting any research, information or reports required to complete the tasks given at Product Development meetings/discussions
  • Undertaking or arranging for any relevant research (e.g. products, patents, copyrights, materials or services)
  • Carrying out any other duties as and when required to facilitate the effective operation of the company as directed by your manager, another director or any other senior manager

Salary:

£17,399 per annum (£29,000 Pro Rata)

Hours:

3 days per week (one of which must be a Wednesday)

12 Month Fixed Term Contract
