About Us


ASL Recruitment Ltd was established in 1999 from the base of its sister company, Assessment Systems Ltd.  The founding Directors have a strong background in HR and occupational psychology. 

Within the group of ASL companies we provide a range of Specialist Assessment, HR and Recruitment consultancy services.

Our Approach

When we started ASL Recruitment, we set about creating a refreshingly new style of recruitment.  One of the key differences was the founding team had not worked in a Recruitment Agency Environment. 

Some may see this as a disadvantage – we saw it as an opportunity.  Having been on the receiving end of the relationship, both as clients and candidates, we were very aware of those characteristics we did not want to have.  From this we set about building a recruitment company with a difference.  We strived to be unique and set the standards of best practice within our industry.


What makes us different?

It’s a people thing.  Our slogan, “Because People Make the Difference”, captures the ethos.  We believe people are the only unique asset any business can have, and this is where the difference with ASL begins.  We have worked to create a culture at ASL where we actually care about placing the right person in to a post, and delivering the highest quality of service to our clients.
